Join Walk Leader, Bev Mullett, for a beautiful hike that offers a serene route through the Red Rock Canyon. The trail starts on a wide path through the meadow and then narrows and switchbacks up toward views of the mountains, Garden of the Gods, the city and plains beyond.

Meeting place: Red Rock Canyon Open Space is located along Highway 24. 3550 W High St, Colorado Springs, CO 80904.
- From I-25 take the Cimarron Street exit west.
- Turn left onto Ridge Road (There is a turn lane but no stop light or stop sign. The turn is after 31st Street which is a stop light)
- Enter the roundabout and take the second exit onto W. High Street
- There are two parking areas on the right side of W. High Street
- Meet on the far east side parking lot (not the large parking lot). This lot is smaller and tucked in the back.

Distance: 3.4 miles
Elevation gain: 482 ft
Dogs OK? Yes
Be sure to bring:
1. Appropriate clothing for the weather.
2. Comfortable hiking or athletic shoes with a grippy sole.
3. Water bottle and snacks.
4. Sunscreen/hat/lip balm/sunglasses
