Join Rae for a relatively flat loop featuring wide dirt paths, a creek, and mountain views. Some short uphill and downhill areas.

Meeting place: Bear Creek Regional Park East Entrance, 21st Street & West Rio Grande Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80905.

Meet at the parking lot on the left when you enter the park, across from the playground and green gazebo lot.

Toilets at trailhead? Yes

Difficulty: Easy

Distance: 2.6 miles

Elevation gain: 207 ft

Dogs OK? Yes, well behaved dogs on leash.

Be sure to bring: 1. Appropriate clothing for the weather. 2. Water. 3. Trail snacks (lunch if appropriate). 4. Sunscreen/sun wear/lip balm/sunglasses.

As always, Live by Living hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Kids are welcome, too! Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we would love you to join us.
