February 28: Clement Park and Johnson Lake Loop
Leader(s): Blaine, Jan, Cal and Ilan
Description: One of the South Suburban Rec District’s major regional facilities, Clement Park features views of the foothills and reflections on Johnson Lake. We’ll do the 1.6 mile lake loop from the playground and, if some or all desire, continue on the park’s other paths or even do a 2nd lake loop.
Where: Clement Park is in Littleton near the intersection of Wadsworth and Bowles. Turn south into the park from Bowles at the light at Long Ave toward the west side of the park. Go past Columbine Library and use the parking lot for the amphitheater and west playground (not the playground on the east side of the park by the tennis courts). We’ll meet by the pit toilets next to the playground.
