Join Steve Stresky and Laurie Goodman for the Living by Living inaugural Cross Country Ski outing in collaboration with the Welch Cancer Center!
Toilets at trailhead? No. There is a warming hut with 2 wood stoves along the trail.
Difficulty: Easy
Distance: 2-3 miles on groomed trails
Elevation: 7,700 - 8,400 feet elevation. Flat trail with some modest inclines.
Highest point: 8,400 feet
Dogs OK? No dogs allowed on this trail
Equipment: Black Mountain Nordic will graciously provide up to 3 complimentary sets of cross-country skis, boots and poles and 3 pairs of snow shoes and poles. First come, first serve.
Contact Laurie Goodman at 307-690-7691 to reserve your type of equipment and give her your size. Equipment users will be required to sign a waiver for BMN before we depart the Hub.
Be sure to bring:
1. Appropriate clothing for the weather
2. Water
3. Trail snacks (suggest bringing lunch)
4. Sunscreen/sun wear/lip balm/sunglasses
As always, Live By Living hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their
caregivers. Kids welcome, too! Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of
