New year adventure!

Start your new year right with a day of adventure and camaraderie. Join Irene for a beautiful hike on the new Chipeta Trail in Red Canyon Park outside Canon city, and then head over to Florence to relax in the beautiful Desert Reef Hot Springs. (Don't worry, I picked Friday because it is a suits required day.)

Description: Chipeta Trail, Red Canyon Park- absolutely gorgeous and relatively flat trail that wanders through red rock formations with scenic views at every turn. 4ish miles. One of my new favorite hikes!

Location: Meet at the new parking area in the left as you drive in at 9:30 am https://maps.app.goo.gl/bgZSpmmTNzQzwvHd9.

Toilets: There are vault toilets close by, but not right at the parking area. 

We will hike, and then drive over to Desert Reef for the soak. You do need to book your soak in advance https://www.desertreefhotspring.com/reserve-main-pool-time.  Pick the 1 pm time slot.

Please bring snacks, a lunch, water, a hat- and a swimsuit and towel.
