Join Georgia for this DIFFICULT hike to the aptly-named Panorama Point. This hike through the conifer forest of Lair O' the Bear and Corwina Parks is a tale of two trails. The first half of the uphill is pretty mellow, as the path borders Bear Creek as it flows down Bear Creek Canyon. Then, the second half gets steeper as you climb to Panorama Point. The trail is a bit rocky in spots. There is a panorama of Mount Blue Sky when you are close to the top, as the name promises. Hiking boots/shoes and poles recommended.
Note: this hike starts at Lair O' the Bear Park, not O'Fallon Park. is a different trailhead than where we have met before. The hike is also longer with a little more elevation gain.
