• From the intersection of South University and East Arapahoe Road go  North on University.  From the left turn lane just before the one at the first traffic light, turn into the DeKoevend Park parking lot.  It is right along University Blvd.

Distance:  1.5 – 4 miles depending on the group’s interests

Elevation gain: Negligible

Dogs allowed:  Yes, if leashed and well-behaved

Toilets at the trailhead: Yes – permanent pit toilets
