Plymouth Mountain is a lovely trail in Deer Creek Canyon Park. The hike is a 6-mile loop with 1460 ft elevation gain and a high point of 7274 ft. Parts of the trail are shared with mountain bikers so we will have to be present in the present. This is a difficult hike, so be sure you are up for it. We'll aim for a pace close to 2 mph.
Please be sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes or boots with good grip. The trail is mostly dry dirt and loose and embedded rocks with some gravel, so it can be slippery. We recommend hiking poles. Water, snacks, sunscreen, hat/sunglasses and a warm layer are always a must.
