Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey at Denver Mountain Park's O'Fallon Park for a lovely mid-Fall hike near Kitttridge. It’ll be about 3.8 miles and 580' vertical. This is on the edge of easy and moderate due to some hill climbing at first. The trail has some rocks, some fairly smooth sections, and descends back down to Bear Creek. There's a beautiful stream alongside the trail for nearly half the distance.
MEETING PLACE: O'Fallon Park parking lot, 25663 Lines Ln, Kittredge, CO 80457. Take US285 south to Indian Hills (Parmalee Gulch Rd.), turn right then go abut 9.5 miles, continuing stright on Meyers Gulch Rd. Follow Meyers Gulch for two miles to Bear Creek Rd. Travel .3 mile then turn righ on Lines Lane and drive to the parking lot.
Alternately, take Bear Creek Rd. west from Morrison and go about 12.5 miles to Lines Lane, then turn left and drive to the parking lot.
