Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey Saturday, October 11, for an easy 5 mile hike, 330' elevation gain, at Caribou Ranch, north of Nederland. We’ll hike to the Delonde Ranch, used in the movie Stagecoach, then to the Bluebird Mine Complex to see the old mining buildings. The trail is mostly wide, flat to the DeLonde Ranch then gets a bit rocky from the ranch to the mine. It’s wide and rock-free from the mine back to the trailhead.  

As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers.  Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we'd love to have you join us.  If you're uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please discuss your abilities with your doctor.

MEETING PLACE: We’ll carpool from the US 36 and Sheridan RTD parking structure, 5025 W 88th Pl, Westminster, CO 80003. Take US36 to the Sheridan exit. If going north, turn right and follow curve to 88th Pl. Then drive about 400 feet and turn right into the RTD parking lot. If coming east on 88th, or south on 36, cross over 36 and take 88th to Sheridan then continue to 92nd. Turn right on 92nd, go one block to Yates, and turn right. Go about 1/3 mile to W. 88th Pl. and turn right. Go about 100 yards and turn left into the RTD parking lot. 

We plan to leave the parking lot by 7:30am so be sure to look at the map ahead of time so you can be at the lot ready to go by then. Click on the Map button to use Google maps to find your way. Or use the Directions button.
