Join Margaret-Ann Mayer for hike on the Colorado Trail starting at Little Molas. It is a high elevation
hike but not too steep and contours through flower filled mountain meadows with spectacular views
of the San Juan Mountains.

Meeting place: 8:00am at Durango Fairground to carpool, 8:30 at Purgatory Resort – Front Parking Lot,
hike will leave at 9:00am from Little Molas Trailhead
Toilets at trailhead? Yes
Difficulty: Moderate
Distance: 4 Miles roundtrip
Elevation gain: 800 ft
Highest point: 11,673 ft
Dogs OK? Yes, well-behaved dogs on leash
Be sure to bring:
1.Appropriate clothing for the weather.
2.Water
3.Trail snacks (lunch if appropriate)
4.Sunscreen/sun wear/lip balm/sunglasses
