Join Nichole for a relaxing walk along the Sac and Fox trail, the oldest national recreation trail in Iowa. This trail is crushed limestone with some uneven areas. There are a few benches along the trail.

Location: Sac and Fox trail, Sunland Drive Trailhead (Post Road and Sunland Drive. There is a blue bench and the famous green frog statue)

Bathrooms: No

Difficulty: Easy

Distance: 1-2 miles (the ttrail is 7.2 miles long, but we will do an out and back for a total of 1-2 miles, depending on the group)

Elevation gain: Minimal, trail is basically flat.

Dogs: are welcome. Must be well behaved and leashed at all times, and you must clean-up after dogs on the trail.

Be sure to bring some water. Insect repellent recommended.
