Join Stephanie Lenkey at Beaver Ranch Park, south of US 285, southwest of Conifer. This is a new hike for us! Adventure! We’ll start and end at Beaver Ranch parking, hike the Casto Creek and Pine Elfin trails. There will be open, flat meadows, and a moderate hill. Total distance about 2.7 miles, 300' elevation gain.

As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers.  Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we'd love to have you join us.  If you're uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please discuss your abilities with your doctor.

MEETING PLACE: RTD Morrison P&R, 3485 S Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO 80465. We’ll meet at the Morrison P&R to arrange carpools then caravan to Beaver Ranch.  It’s the northwest corner of C470 and Morrison Road. Take C470 to Morrison Road exit. Go west about 200' to Rooney Road and turn right. There is a Phillips 66 gas station at the corner of Rooney and Morrison Road. We will meet at 8:05am, depart Morrison Park and Ride at 8:15am, expecting to arrive at the trailhead parking by 8:45am. Hike will start at 9:00am. Please be on time. Please pay your driver $5 for gas.

For reference, Beaver Ranch Park is located at11369 South Foxton Road Conifer, CO 80433.Take US 285 southwest to Kennedy Gulch Road. Turn left, cross under US 285, and go 1/4 mile to the stop sign at Foxton Road. Turn left at the stop sign and go 1 mile to Beaver Ranch Park. Park across from the Beaver Ranch Community building.
