Walk into Wellness | Waterton Canyon
Public -by Ed Robb  |  Walk/hike

Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey for the first walk in the Spring-Summer hike series at Waterton Canyon, one of our favorites. We’ll walk along the South Platte River, upstream from Chatfield Reservoir, along the Strontia Springs dam road used by Denver Water. They are the only traffic. The hike is about 5 miles, 80' elevation gain. With luck, we’ll see the bighorn sheep!

As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers.  Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we'd love to have you join us.  If you're uncertain whether you are physically up for a hike, please discuss your abilities with your doctor.

MEETING PLACE: Waterton Canyon parking lot, 12437 Waterton Canyon, Littleton, CO 80127. From C-470, take Wadsworth south 4.6 miles to the light at the entrance of Lockheed Martin. Turn left, and go about 700' to the Waterton Canyon parking on the left. Use the Google Plus Code with Google Maps if needed. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the location before Saturday.
