Live By Living is partnering with Cancer Support Community- Southwest Colorado to bring walks/hikes to the Southwest Region!
Join Glenn for a road trip to Cortez for an easy hike in the scenic BLM canyon country just outside of Cortez. We will stop at the Walmart store in Cortez to use the bathrooms before we start the Sand Canyon hike so all the “tanks” are empty before we start. Although it is extremely pretty canyon country it is also a desert climate {pinon trees and low growing cactus) so bring water and lunch/snacks for the hike. You can get very close to the Cliff Dwellings for pictures but it is illegal to enter them and BLM rangers do patrol the area.
