Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey for a moderate hike up North Table Mountain north of Golden. This hike has a significant climb for 2/3 mile from the parking lot. Once on top, the mountain is pretty flat. There is a somewhat steep grade coming down on the back side of this loop. Total distance is 3.7 miles, about 630' of elevation gain. Once on top we could see deer, great views. We hike a rocky road to the top then will be on wide, hard packed trails until we come down, then a rocky road to a typical trail.You will feel a real sense of accomplishment after doing North Table Mountain! We will go as slow as necessary.

MEETING PLACE: 4788 CO-93, Golden, CO 80403. Take CO 93 north from CO 58, the Golden Freeway, for about 2 miles. The entrance to North Table Mountain Park is on the right. From the north, take CO 93 south to North Table Mountain Park, just before you start to enter Golden, and turn left. The mesa is the largest thing around!
