Join Bob, Jessica and Steve for an easy walk starting at Harper Lake (Leon A Wurl Wildlife Sanctuary) on McCaslin Blvd in Louisville. We will walk around the lake, then continue a gradual downhill on the Coyote Run bike/ped path to Via Appia, around the small pond at Lake Park, and work our way back up to Harper Lake. There is a roughly 125 ft elevation loss/gain on this route (uphill on the return), with options of a 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 miles route. A volunteer will happily accompany you if you choose a shorter route.
As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Kids welcome, too! Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we'd love to have you join us. Questions? Contact us.
