Join Dan and Melissa Gilstrap of Parker Advent Health for a Live By Living walk around Belmar park and Kountze Lake. Belmar park is one of Lakewood's hidden gems. Located just off busy Wadsworth Avenue, Belmar Park is home to some great birdwatching, mountain vistas, and a bit of serenity. We'll take the trail around the lake, stopping to admire the egrets, cormorants and other birds, along with some turtles. Bring a pair of binoculars, if you have some.
After our walk, we'll head across Wadsworth to Great Divide Brewery and Roadhouse, 7260 W Alaska Dr unit d, Lakewood, CO 80226, for social time/dinner.
This event is intended for young adult (40-ish and under) cancer survivors and their caregivers. Kids welcome, too. Regardless of whether you are currently in or out of treatment, we'd love to have you join us. Questions? Contact us.
