Join Katherine for a high elevation hike to the old Boston Mine camp in Mayflower Gulch. The Trail starts at 10,500 ft. This 4 mile out and back hike gains nearly 1000ft  and brings us to a gorgeous  high alpine valley surrounded by 13,000ft peaks in all directions. There are several old miners cabins to explore and hopefully some late season wildflowers. Mayflower Gulch has some of the best scenery in the county !  The trail is almost entirely on an old road which is wide and stable but has long stretches of loose rock. 

Children over age 8 are welcome 

Dogs allowed with advanced permission.
