Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey at Dillon Reservoir for a nice hike on the paved trail at Dillon Reservoir. We'll start near Giberson Bay on the northwest part of the resevoir, then walk west along the trail to the ball fields across from the Frisco Marina, about 3.4 miles round-trip, a massive 70' elevation gain. We'll snack at the ball fields then return the way we came. Plan to chip in $5 to your driver for gas

MEETING PLACE: Wooly Mammoth P&R (approximately 18560 US-40). MQWV+X2P Golden, Colorado. ColoradoTake I70 west to the first exit past C470. This is the exit to Red Rocks. After making the exit you will want to be in the middle lane to turn right onto CO93.  After turning right on CO93, immediately turn left onto US40, staying in the left lane. Follow US40 south and take the second left turn into the park & ride. Meet us in section CC, on the right. We plan to leave at 7:50am so be there early enough to be ready to go by then.

Look at Goggle Maps ahead of time so you are familiar with how to get to Wooly Mammoth.

For reference, we’ll park along the Dillon Dam Rd to start/end the hike. Take I70 west to the Frisco Business Loop, exit 203. Go around the roundabout then take the left at the first light onto Dillon Dam Road. Go .9 miles then turn off on the right into the dirt parking lot.
