Join Ed Robb and Stephanie Lenkey at the Burning Bear trail on the south side of Guanella Pass. It’ll be about 3.25 miles and 200' vertical, along a trail that follows Geneva Creek. We’ll go out about 1.6 miles, have a snack, then retrace our steps. If we're lucky, we might see moose.  

As always, Live By Living day hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. MEETING PLACE: RTD Morrison P&R, 3485 S Rooney Rd, Morrison, CO 80465.
It's the northwest corner of C470 and Morrison Road. Take C470 to Morrison Road exit. Go west about 200' to Rooney Road and turn right. There is a Phillips 66 gas station at the corner of Rooney and Morrison Road.

From Denver, drive southwest on US 285 approximately 40 miles to Grant. Turn right (north) onto Park County 62 (towards Guanella Pass). The Abyss Trailhead is approximately 5.5 miles north on the Guanella Pass Road.
