Join Jessica for an easy walk at Waneka Lake and around Hecla Lake near Hygiene.  The hike is around 3 miles, but there is an option of just going around Waneka Lake and returning to the car in about 1.2 miles, rather than the entire 3 miles.  This is flat terrain around two lakes with great views to the mountains and good opportunities to view birds and other wildlife.
