Hike Into Health Summit County: Straight Creek
Public -by Katherine Dietterich  |  Walk/hike

Join Katherine Dietterich for a 4.9 mile hike on the Upper Straight Creek Trail. Have you ever wondered what secret beauty is hidden on top of the Eisenhower Tunnel? On this hike we will explore the breath taking Flower Valley-winding our way through dancing streams and wildflowers galore as we ascend out of the valley to the top of Loveland ski resort for stunning 360 degrees views of the Gore, Ten Mile and Front Range. The trail varies from decommissioned road, to single track dirt to old mine road. Expect loose dirt/rock, packed dirt, embedded rocks, easy stream crossings. Kids over 8 years of age are welcome.

Live By Living’s day walks/hikes are open to all cancer survivors and their caregivers. Kids are welcome, too! Regardless of whether participants are currently in or out of treatment, Live By Living would love to have you join us. Questions? Contact us.
